All funds we raise will cover 2024 Production & Operations expenses:

Artist Stipends

PURPLE is an intergenerational work that involves 15 collaborators in total; all these people will be paid for their work.

Production Management

A lot of logistics and creative collaborations go into manifesting this work: costumes, music rights and compositions, film editing, and more.

Travel Expenses

Help us get our entire Ensemble and Production Team (16 people!) to Dance Place in D.C. in April 2024!

Operations Expenses

Education, Production, Marketing, Community Engagement, Fundraising, and Health Accountability are all operations, run by SLMDances Leadership and Creative Partners.

Future Touring

We want to engage with and share the magic of PURPLE with communities around the world!

Space Expenses

We need to rent rehearsal space!

Food

Breaking bread together is deeply valued as an important part of our collaborative creative process.

Covid Safety

We are still making work in a pandemic.
